کیا پرس کامران حاج نبی داروساز، با اشاره به دسترس نبودن مواد شوینده و بهداشتی در برخی داروخانه‌های کشور درباره ساخت مواد بهداشتی در ضدعفونی کننده در منزل توضیح داد: مردم می‌توانند با تهیه الکل طبی ۹۹ درصد از داروخانه و مخلوط کردن آن با آب محلول ضد عفونی کننده تهیه کنند؛ توجه داشته باشید باید سه برابر میزان الکل آب با الکل مخلوط شود.
وی ادامه داد: آب مورد استفاده باید جوشیده باشد و پس از سرد شدن این محلول ساخته شود.
به گفته این داروساز استفاده از الکل صنعتی برای ساخت محلول ضدعفونی کننده به هیچ وجه توصیه نمی‌شود به دلیل اینکه ممکن است استفاده مکرر از این ماده می‌تواند عوارض پوستی به همراه داشته باشد.
حاجی‌نبی با بیان اینکه مردم می‌توانند با استفاده از بتادین نیز محلول ضدعفونی کننده سطوح را ایجاد کرد گفت: می‌توان با مخلوط کردن یک و نیم لیتر آب با چند قاشق غذاخوری بتادین این محلول را ساخت.
